At Vault Performance, we are confident in the safety, reliability & results of our remaps produce. All of our remaps are adapted to your vehicle to provide you with optimal remap settings which are the most suitable for your vehicle, this should produce noticeable benefits. Following our work, if an issue arises with your vehicle, it will most likely be due to a mechanical fault, not a fault with the remap itself. Once the mechanical fault is fixed your vehicle should revert to its optimum performance.

At Vault Performance we carry out vehicle specific diagnostics or more commonly known as ‘health checks’ on your vehicle before any modifications are made to the vehicle and after a remap is done. We expect clients to know the current condition of their vehicle before a remap but we will carry out these tests as a safety precaution. After these checks are carried out, we have the right to refuse a remap of a vehicle we have deemed ‘unfit’ for modifications to be applied. E.g., high mileage vehicles. No warranty is given or implied to any components on your vehicle before or after a remap is carried out apart from the remap file itself.

We offer a test drive with a member of staff after a remap is carried out for the client to assess the difference in performance, the test drive is carried out when the remap is completed and when the client is present.  At this stage if a client feels dissatisfied with the remap, we can revert the changes back to the vehicle’s original state and a partial refund of £99 is applied when we remove the remap. At any later stage no partial or full refund will be offered. By using our service, you agree to these terms & conditions.

If for any reason at a later stage the consumer is not satisfied with the remap i.e., 6 months after the remap, the client can return to us and have the remap removed or reinstalled for a charge of £99. All our remaps are tried and tested for their performance gain and we provide estimates for the performance gain before a remap is carried out. As these are estimates we cannot guarantee that the consumers vehicle will achieve the same performance output.

Vault Performance do not accept liability for any mechanical part failure or electronics failure after performance tuning. By using our service, you agree to these terms and conditions.

It is important to remember that vehicle components can fail or be strained in a standard vehicle or a remapped vehicle. Customers should be aware that a vehicle which has been remapped will be forced to work harder than its original state; therefore, any pre-existing vulnerabilities in the mechanics of the vehicle may be underlined or highlighted after this service. Given that vehicle components are liable to fail regardless of a vehicle’s remapped status, Vault Performance is unable to accept responsibility for any mechanical part failure following the application of our service.

Vault Performance do not cover the liability for any mechanical or electrical parts including the following parts: turbos, injectors, clutches, gearboxes, DPF, boost leaks (boost pipes) as these have a serviceable lifetime and the remap places bigger demands on these parts, which may cause issues if they are not in good health.  Stage 1+, Stage 2, Stage 3 remaps are beyond the recommended tolerances of your engine and we and the remap writer will not accept any liability for these remaps.

We work in conjunction with external 'remap writers’ and the liability for any error in the remap software lies with them and not Vault Performance.

Mobile Service

If we perform a remap on your vehicle as a mobile service and your vehicle later has a fault with it – due to any reason, the vehicle must be brought to our premises for further investigation or restorative work. A diagnostics test is carried out before we apply a remap with our mobile service as well as a test drive for the client to assess the difference in performance.

We offer a free callout with our Mobile Service for clients within a 30-mile radius of our premises, this is only for the installation of remaps NOT a removal or reinstallation of a remap. Please contact us for a free quotation of a callout charge that does not meet the requirements listed above. Please note callout charges are non-refundable.

The Client Must:
 

Accept all power/torque gains from your ECU remap are approximate, as are the actual figures of your engine’s quoted power and torque figures from your car manufacturer.

Accept the fuel efficiency of your vehicle after a remap depends on a number of factors including but not limited to: outside temperature, driving style, tyre pressures, and regular and correct service maintenance of your vehicle.

Accept Vault Performance or its associates are not liable for costs incurred to fix either determined or pending faults found relating to your vehicle during its diagnostic check either before or after you have your vehicle remapped.

Accept it is your responsibility to inform your insurance company/finance company (If the car is a financed car) of your car’s ECU remap.

Accept that the in some cases an ECU remap may invalidate a vehicle’s warranty/agreement.

By installing this Product and/or Service, you understand and agree that as a high-performance product and/or service, individual results may vary depending on make, model, and usage. Vault Performance shall in no way be held responsible nor liable for any of the results, claimed or otherwise, that may or may not come from the product or service.

You also agree that the original vehicle manufacturer makes its own determinations regarding the effects of Add-On products and/or service to its warranties, Vault Performance shall in no way be held responsible nor liable for anything pertaining to or resulting from the original vehicle manufacturers warranty and/or terms of use

ALL CLAIMS FOR LIABILITY AND/OR LOSS INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION TO ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHICH MAY OCCUR AS A RESULT OF ANY VAULT PERFORMANCE LIMITED ACTION (OR INACTION) ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY WAIVED. DUE TO COVID-19 ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE VISIBLE ONLINE AND ARE ACCEPTED SOON AS WE UPLOAD THE REMAP FILE.
